It is said that women are generally bad at directions the technical reason being during Adam’s time men use to go out in the woods hunting for food and they knew the way back home whereas women use to stay at Home/Cave/Den/Shelter (depends what one has to define). Even now in 21^st century as per the survey (by people who do market surveys) it is still the same, women do majority of car accidents due to technical reasons (not a proven reason).

Communication leads to addresses and addresses leads to directions. Most of my mode of communication is through my cell phone but what I noticed was people love gadgets but hate to make complete use of it but without a communication you cannot address anything whether it is some ones phone number, id, name, designation, destination, or a dream and addresses lead to directions. I met several gentlemen who did show me the addresses to keep my dream going but finally it has ended up in the directions of a meteoroid, which when falls only leaves a scar on the planet. Same way if dreams are shattered you end up keeping a safe distance from your hard earned sleep so that you don’t dream again. It is a bitter lesson of life but definitely doesn’t lead to the direction of closing the book of life.

When I had to communicate in a debate at one interview, I had learned in business communications that always answer negative so that you get more scope for a debate. The debate was on ‘whether you need to have a degree to be successful?’ and the scope for the debate was in ‘NO’ as Bill Gates, Ambani, TATA, Birla and lots other who are successful and have lead lot of people to top address which in turn have lead to good directions never had a profound degree to be successful when they started of with their dreams.   

Negativity to win an interview and that too for a topic like that is understandable. But what if the communication topic is ‘Do we need to cheat or lie to be successful?’ Or ‘Can we be successful being only truthful?’  If both the questions are addressed as ‘YES’ then what will be the direction? And if ‘NO’ then what will be the direction? I wonder what will I answer if tomorrow my daughter asks me such questions or for that matter anyone who asks me such questions.

Communicate for these questions to address them to an appropriate direction.

‘CHANGE’

We address people not just with their names but many a times with their title or nickname or pet name or sometimes with some adjectives or even with ex-pressions. Once even I was titled with such an adjective a ‘___ currency Software Seller’ the immediate ex-pression was (hey I am much more than that and all earned with hard work – a voice in my head) maybe he said thinking that it wouldn’t matter much, but it definitely has made a major difference to him now. It didn’t matter at that point of time but it did made me think that do I really need to be addressed in that way or do I need to make my own identity or maybe I know what I know but I do not have a title to it yet or that wasn’t a landmark of the well known sort. But I still am content about one thing even if I do not have a well-known title for my hard work; I still have the Best title of a being a ‘Human Being’ in which I will never ever prefer any kind of ‘CHANGE’.

If it was just the gut feeling based on which he was making these kind of statements or by mere comparisons then as per my judgment he was only being noisy, but if he had actually understood the entire competition right from the beginning then instead of being noisy he would have taken proactive measures. Now if I have to grade that person on my mere gut feelings or by comparison then I feel he is just being the victim of  half knowledge. Competitions always have winners and non-winners, winning make us more content, happy, gives us feeling of success whereas non-winning makes us think more and do more in order to succeed. Participation in any competition also allows one to know where he/she stands in that field; it is not just winning or non-winning.

Before I could actually start with my ‘M’ factor, I would like you’ll to read this small story, as I remembered this while putting my thoughts.

‘My Best Friend’ (Person with whom I agree to disagree), She has an Aunt who is very rich, my friend never liked the comment people use to pass that she looked liked her Aunt, she rather wanted it that her fate should be like her Aunt (Strange!). So she decided once to visit her husband’s friend who is suppose to be the famous Indian numerologist SJ, During that time he was an upcoming numerologist, Her name which starts with V and ends with I has now changed to ‘Vish’ (I would have preferred ‘Wish’). I did not believe but her fate actually changed, she started using the ‘Vish’ (The Indian translation) in other people’s life. Yeah for the biggest ‘M’ factor called money, People can even play with their names and other people’s life (that’s Weird!).

I am not a superstitious person. The ‘M’ factor, which I have mentioned in my words, has nothing to do with superstition or numerology or any logy that relates to it.

Once when I was teaching my daughter  'M' for Mother, she kept asking me ”and”  that’s how I discovered the 'M' factor of my life. My Maiden name starts with ‘M’. My favourite fruit is ‘Mango’, the king category, It’s grown in the place I come from. The place where I was brought up is ‘Mumbai’, Married a ‘Mangalorean’. So I remain ‘Miss’ or ‘Mrs’ its still ‘Me’, first visit out of India ‘Muscat’ where the second language is ‘Malayalam’, sweet dish I like ‘Mishti Dahi’ (because I tasted it only once in my life), I am a ‘Mother’ at home and a ‘Manager’ at a ‘Media’ company. The device that is Most touched by me everyday is Mouse. I like ‘Music’ I like “Madonna, Maria carrey, MCelin Dion” and the Mangeshkars of course. I like ‘Movies’ and ‘Madhuri’.  I like reading ‘Mystery – Books’ (which should have happys endings). I like the ‘Mad’ serial on POGO and like the ‘Multilingual’ people in my office with the real life ‘Magics’ they do with their work though sometimes with an ‘Maddening’ effect. These are ‘Mere’ ‘M’ factors of ‘Mad’ ‘Me’. Yes, before I forget which is another ‘Memory’ factor of my life someone just ‘Mused’ me with one more ‘M’ factor and that is ‘Move On’.

My world, My people, My dreams

"Dreams" the brain media to visualise things happening around you and things happen depending on people and places around you.

This is not a biography, it is a part of one dream put in words.

I entered Oman with no dreams thought let's explore the place instead because my dreams are always based on the city, and the people around me. Before coming to Oman I had done a general study on the city and the results were "Oman is not a place for me" immediately the question popped up why? So I thought of finding the answer myself but how unless I know the place. My interest is in Information Technology, I do have lots of other passion too but I cannot make a living out of it. With a little bit of self-survey I discovered people saying, "IT, It's at a startup level here, it's at DOS-Mode, its null etc". That kept me disappointed for a little while.

In the mean time I saw an Ad in the newspaper for a data entry operator. Going for that interview was like crucifying my 10+ years of experience of teaching implementation of IT to various top-level corporate houses in India. But with just one IT Ad in the newspaper actually pulled me there.

I attended the interview, the answers for all the questions which the interviewer asked were no and yet I was selected, That was the best interview of my life, so I thought, good I have a chance somewhere but I worked there only for 20 days because in those 20 days it was difficult for the employer to figure out what am I good at, as the answers for the question were no initially and they remained no even after 20 days.

2 months later I got a job in another company the word solutions pulled me, I thought I could be useful to someone because of my experience as a technical support in an International organisation, which offered a support to the browser called AOL. I thought that this was the organisation that needed me to provide solutions to their clients but I discovered that I was the solution for the organisation, coming from large organisations with a buff of work culture made me difficult working at a smaller setup with no work culture. I continued working with ignorance about lot of things especially the competitors, the politics etc. When I discovered I hated this world, But I realised I cannot change the world but can surely change the way I look at it, the first solution for myself. I did that and I noticed people took me seriously, I got good projects, I got my world, my people and my dream the only thing I need now is the solution to drive my dream.
